Galerie Schimming

Founded in 2003, Galerie Schimming presents modern and contemporary art. Alongside regular exhibitions by established artists, the gallery opens its doors once or twice a year to promising emerging talent. These “Young Art” exhibitions have helped launch the careers of several young artists.

The gallery’s programme focuses on diverse approaches to contemporary painting, ranging from the New Leipzig School Neuen Leipziger Schule to Pop Art.
