Galerie Gruppe Motto

Founded in 2023, Gruppe Motto is an independent gallery for contemporary art in Hamburg’s Gängeviertel. The exhibition space is shaped by its setting in former residential rooms. Its collectively curated programme brings together established and emerging artists, often in collaboration with communities such as HALLO: Radio.

Each exhibition begins not with a fixed thesis, but with a single word (a motto), opening up different perspectives and exploring the connections between the works presented.
