Hinterconti

Since 1999, hinterconti has been a self-organised, non-profit independent art space in St. Pauli. For more than two decades, a rotating interdisciplinary team of artists has curated an experimental programme with a focus on Hamburg-based artists, while also bringing international artists into dialogue with the local scene.

Since 2025, the hinterconti team has run EXchange, an exchange programme with international non-profit art spaces.
