Hyper Cultural Passengers

HYPER CULTURAL PASSENGERS is a collaborative project bringing together artists, philosophers and other cultural practitioners. It approaches culture as an exchange between local and global discourses. The metaphors of the passenger and the hyperlink open up associative and conceptual possibilities for cultural connections, explored through artistic means.

For the past 15 years, HYPER CULTURAL PASSENGERS has run artist-in-residence projects. Working with partners around the world, the project connects artists from Japan, China, South Korea, India, Jordan, Israel, Turkey, the Netherlands, Finland, Iceland and the USA with Hamburg’s cultural scene.
