Kunstverein Gastgarten

Kunstverein Gastgarten was founded in 2023, growing out of the cultural magazine of the same name, which has brought together perspectives from art, literature, theatre and design since 2020. Housed in a former office building in Hamburg-Hammerbrook, the volunteer-run art association presents changing exhibitions and publications.

The programme focuses on emerging artists from Hamburg, as well as interdisciplinary, experimental and socially engaged practices. As a platform for contemporary art, Gastgarten fosters exchange, networking and new artistic perspectives.
