To accompany the exhibition »Von der Donau an die Alster #2«, a discussion will take place on the significance of collecting for contemporary art.

Prof. Dr Christoph H. Seibt (collector, Christoph Seibt Collection, Hamburg), Dr. Silvie Aigner (editor of PARNASS art magazine, Vienna) and Andrea von Goetz (curator and cultural manager, CAO Hamburg) will discuss the role collectors play in the development of new artistic approaches, why trust and courage are crucial factors, and how private collections can become the cultural archives of the future.
